We hope you all had a restful and wonderful weekend!This week we are going to be introducing the letter Qq .We are going to decorate some quilts.This week we will continue with simple one-digit subtraction problems and we will continue talking about plants and will be recording our observations of the bean plants we planted last week.The children are really excited to see how much their plant is growing. They are using the vocabulary roots, stem, leaves, and flower.
MAP testing will be starting Tuesday, January 22nd.
The students will be do the Math MAP first and the Reading Map assessment will
take place the following week. Please make sure that your child gets plenty of
sleep the night before, eat a health breakfast that morning and come to school
with water.
Adriana Jimenez will be in charge of bringing the ingredients for our
Kindergarten Kafe on Friday.
