Week of October 22nd - October 26th

We hope you have all had a restful weekend!

This week we will review the letters that we have studied so far. Your child should be able to recognize letters Aa to Ii with their corresponding sound.
Please help your child print these letters correctly. It might be helpful to practice writing letters with your child in different ways, such as using play dough, salt, and finger-paints!!

We Celebrate The United Nations Day on Thursday, October 25th starting at 8:30 a.m. You are all invited to come!!! Throughout the week the children will be engaging in various activities that will lead up to our school celebration.
This day is also an early Dismissal. The students will be going home at 11:45 a.m. You do not need to send a snack with your child on this day.

Remember that Conference Day will be on Friday, October 26th. Conference sign-up times will be sent home in your child’s folder on Monday. Please return them as soon as possible. We will really like to see everyone make it!!!

We would like to give a big thank you to Ms. Deborah Sheenan and Ms. Marlene Banegas for organizing our Costume Day Celebration. They have decided to donate the baskets the children will be using to go trick or treating around the school. They have also decided to donate the candies, cupcakes and drinks.

Another big Thank You goes to Andres Aguilar for donating the ingredients for Kindergarten Kafe lat week. The children enjoyed decorating their own ice cream cones with gummy bears, marshmallows, and sprinkles.
