WEEK OF DECEMBER13-17

Dear Parents,
This week we will be doing many activities and centers related to Christmas. The children have been kept busy practicing for the Songfest and are doing a great job. They are excited about it.

DINNER AND SONGFEST - We would like to remind all parents that our annual Songfest will take place this coming Thursday December 16th. The DPTO will be selling Holiday food an hour before the student presentations, which will be starting promptly at 6:00 p.m. We invite all parents and students to come at 5:00 p.m. for supper, to catch up with friends, purchase the Choir CD and the Discovery School cookbook for holiday gifts, and enjoy the presentations our students have been working on. The program should last about one hour and thirty minutes. We hope to see you all there.
Please make sure the children are dressed in black for the Songfest celebration. Girls can wear dresses or slacks if they wish. Please have the children wear black shoes or sneakers.

Thank you to all the parents who have already sent the money for the Christmas Project, lunch, drinks and treat bags. If you still have not sent the money, please send it right away.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATALIA SHERMAN!!! She is going to be 6 years old on Friday, December 17th. She is going to celebrate with all of us on Wednesday and will provide pizza for everyone. You only need to pack a snack for your child on this day.

There will be no Kindergarten Kafe this week. We would like to thank Nancy Mas and ???? for bringing the ingredients of last Friday’s Kafe. The children enjoyed eating a delicious moose made out of marshmallows.

Our Christmas break will start on December 17th. Classes will resume on the 5th of January. We want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year filled with joy  and lots of rest!!!
