I hope everyone had a great weekend!
Midterm reports were issued last Friday, November 16th . These should be signed by parents and returned to the teacher as soon as possible. If you would like a conference and one was not requested by the teacher, please call the school to set up an appointment.
This week we will be learning about the story of Thanksgiving.
We will be reading stories and watching short movies about Thanksgiving. We will talk about the things we are thankful for.
In Math, we are going to be working with the number 18. We are going to be doing a lot of sequencing activities, writing missing the numbers, what number comes before and after a number, making sets, using ten frames, and tally marks.
Please take a moment every day to review with your child the sight words we are studying in class. We will continue working with by, can, or, had,four, brown.
This year, the school is looking at preparing 29 Holiday Baskets for our maintenance, support and security staff. We are asking for a family contribution of L150 to be sent by Monday, November 19. Please place your contribution in a sealed envelope with your family name, and send it to school or give it to one of your homeroom teachers. These proceeds will be used to buy the staples for the Holiday Baskets that will be given out before the Holiday Break.
