Dear Parents,
I hope everyone had a great weekend! This is going to be a short week. Our Thanksgiving holiday is Thursday and Friday.
Midterm reports were issued last Friday, November 17th . These should be signed by parents and returned to the teacher as soon as possible. If you would like a conference and one was not requested by the teacher, please call the school to set up an appointment.
Early Childhood is doing their part to help our community. We need your help too!
In Kindergarten we teach our students about sharing and helping out. Angelitos Del Dia is a perfect way to help show our kids just how easy this can be and how we can make a difference in our community.
"Angelitos del Dia" helps out newborn babies born in Materno Infantil here in Tegucigalpa. They provide moms with newborn essentials (blankets, pajamas, socks, hats, wash cloths, towels, diapers, baby wipes, baby soap and baby shampoo).
Your child is taking home a bag that you can use to put your donations in.
A great way to get your child involved is to go through their baby clothes and have them choose items they would like to donate. Extra and Emporio are also great places to shop for baby items. Please feel free to donate as many items as you wish.
Send the bags back in by Wednesday, December 6th. Thank you!!

This week we will be learning about the story of Thanksgiving.
We will be reading stories and watching short movies about Thanksgiving. We will talk about the things we are thankful for.
In Math, we are going to be working with numbers 18. We are going to be doing a lot of sequencing activities, writing missing numbers, making sets using ten frames, and tally marks.
Please take a moment every day to review with your child the sight words we are studying in class. We will continue working with by, can, or, had, four.
