Dear Parents,
This is going to be a very short week. Since you all
know this coming Thursday and Friday we will have no school because of the
pavement process of the street. This is why we will be focusing on a review of
all the concepts that we have learned so far. There will be NO new content
introduced this week.
As you already know, this Tuesday we are all going to Sebastian
Ortez´s house for our Easter Egg Hunt. We are going to be leaving the school
around 8:30 a.m. and returning around 2:30 p.m. The Easter Committee met and
decided to ask for Lps. 350 to buy the Easter baskets, treats, lunch, hiring of
Easter Bunny, Face Painting, PiƱata, and more for the students. Since this date
was moved from a Friday to a Tuesday, we do not have that much time to collect
the money. If you have not sent the money, we would like for you to send it
tomorrow Tuesday to take to the party and pay for the expenses.
Please remember the 5 egg shells requested last week.
The children will have fun painting these egg shells and then hunting for them
on Tuesday in our Easter Party.
We wish each one of you a happy and safe week. We will
see each other again on Tuesday, April 7th.
UPDATE ON PAVING - Because of the need to pave the entrance and exit to school and leave the paving unused for sufficient time to harden, the last day of classes before Semana Santa will be March 25. THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES ON THURSDAY, MARCH 26 AND FRIDAY, MARCH 27. Faculty and staff may not enter the school without permission during that time period, including Semana Santa. Any entry will require special arrangements and permission from the Head of School
We will still meet the standard of 180 days of classesset by SACS and by the Honduran Ministry of Education. Enjoy an extra-long vacation! We will resume classes on April 7, as planned.
