Week of Nov. 21st - 25th Thanksgiving

Dear Parents,


I hope everyone had a great weekend! This is going to be a short week. Our Thanksgiving holiday is Thursday and Friday. I hope you enjoy the long weekend.


Wednesday is our pot luck breakfast and lunch. The students do not need to bring their lunchbox on this day. 


Midterm reports were issued last Friday, November 18th . These should be signed by parents and returned to the teacher as soon as possible. If you would like a conference and one was not requested by the teacher, please call the school to set up an appointment.


In Kindergarten we learn about many things. We teach our students about sharing and helping out. Angelitos Del Dia is a perfect way to help show our kids just how easy this can be and how we can make a difference in our community.

"Angelitos del Dia" helps out newborn babies born in Materno Infantil here in Tegucigalpa. They provide moms with newborn essentials (blankets, pajamas, socks, hats, wash cloths, towels, diapers, baby wipes, baby soap and baby shampoo). 
Please feel free to donate as many items as you wish. Send them in by Monday, November 28th.

                                                                                                          This week we will be learning about the story of Thanksgiving.
We will be reading stories and watching short movies about Thanksgiving. We will talk about the things we are thankful for.












In Math, we are going to be working with numbers 18. We are going to be doing a lot of sequencing activities, writing missing numbers and making sets.


Please take a moment every day to review with your child the sight words we are studying in class. We will continue working with by, can, or, had,one.
