WEEK OF APRIL 1 – 5, 2013

Dear Parents,

Welcome back! We hope you had a wonderful Easter Break and were able to get enough rest, or at least spend some enjoyable time with your children. This week we will study letter Xx.
Vocabulary- ax, fox, box, six, mix, xylophone, x-rays
Sight words-will, up, has, look, out
Phonemic awareness-beginning and ending sounds (review)
math- Story problems(addition)
Science-Water Cycle(

This week we will talk about extinct animals or animals in danger of extinction and water cycle.We are almost done with the alphabet and the children are excited to know that they are almost in First Grade.

Thanks to Johanna and Kelly  for organizing  the Easter party before the break.  

 

The DPTO will begin to plan the school’s annual FUN RUN, and is inviting parents to a planning meeting this Thursday, April 4 at 4:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.

This week we will have Kindergarten Kafe and the child in charge of bringing the ingredients this week is Cecilia Funez. Thank you in advance!
